Gotta Have Faith was developed in three weeks for a university assignment and needed to follow the prompts of ‘anti-boss battle’ and ‘life is sacred’. You play as a monk who cannot damage or attack, and instead the goal of the game is to avoid enemy attacks until they destroy themselves.
As we had a large team for this prototype, I was responsible for setting the art design direction, creating appropriate visual design documents as guides for the team, assisting other artists in the group as needed, and attending regular standups and meetings to discuss ideas and development with the team. I also created the player character 2D assets and animation.
